I counted the days
I was waiting, hoping this day will arrive soon
She'll come for me now, I know she will
The only strand of light in my exile that I live
Is that I can count the days she'll come for me
My only joy is that I still have hope
A dream that I can hold onto
My home is not my heart
I know she will come, I can almost hear her footsteps
I imagine her and me, and that I won't be alone anymore
We'll live as we used to, I'll be in her arms
She'll protect me, she'll love me
Her sweet voice is ringing in my ears
I can hear her laughter and I feel warm inside
I think about her and I'm not cold anymore
I'm not cold, hungry nor lonely if she's here
I'll wait no matter how long it'll take for her to get here
I know she'll come, she promised she would
Thinking about all the old memories makes me smile
Our old memories... all seems too long ago
Too far away
Faint smile
Smile disappearing
The light of hope fading away
It's about a orphan who is waiting for her mother to come.
